Primero Mining Corporation (NYSE: PPP), formerly known as Mala Noche Resources Corp., was changed to its current name in August 2010. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, it is mainly engaged in gold and silver mining and production operations in Canada and Mexico.

Primero Mining is engaged in the production, development, acquisition, and exploration of precious metals in Canada and Mexico, focusing on the production of gold and silver mines. It mainly owns the San Dimas gold and silver mine project, located in the San Dimas district of Mexico, and owns the Black Fox Complex project, located in Canada Timmins Mine in Ontario.

In addition, Primero Mining also owns the Ventanas project in Durango, Mexico, and the Cerro del Gallo project in Guanajuato, Mexico.

On May 9, 2018, First Majestic completed the acquisition of Primero Mining Corp., Primero shareholders will receive 0.03325 First Majestic shares per share, and Primero will be delisted.
