Scully Royalty Ltd. (NYSE: SRL) was founded in 1951, formerly known as MFC Bancorp Ltd. (formerly NYSE: MFCB), changed to its current name in June 2019, and was formerly known as MFC Industrial Ltd ., was changed to MFC Bancorp Ltd. in July 2017. Headquartered in Central, Hong Kong (originally in Dublin, Ireland), with 216 full-time employees, it is a commercial banking company that provides various financial services to companies and institutions around the world.

Scully Royalty operates through two divisions, Merchant Banking (commercial bank) and All Other (other).

Scully Royalty focuses on the market where traditional supply and funding sources are not fully resolved, focusing on providing solutions for small and medium enterprises.

Scully Royalty provides bank guarantees, letters of credit, factoring, other financing transactions, proprietary investment and consulting services, and commercial banking products and services.

Scully Royalty also owns various production assets, including a zinc alloy processing plant in Slovakia; a natural gas power plant in Alberta, Canada, and a hydroelectric power plant in Africa; a non-ferrous metal rolling mill in Germany; and a plant in Alberta, Canada. Natural gas production and processing facilities, as well as the mining sub-lease of Wabush Iron Mine’s land in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

In addition, Scully Royalty holds an interest in hydrocarbons located in the Midwest of Alberta, Canada; and participates in business activities related to medical equipment, instruments, supplies and services.
