ACS Group (ACS, Actividades de Construcción y Servicios, SA) is a Spanish multinational company mainly engaged in construction-related businesses and also involved in the telecommunications industry. In 1997, it was formed by the merger of OCP Construcciones, SA and Ginés Navarro Construcciones, SA.

Construcucciones Padrós SA, one of the predecessors of the ACS group of companies, was established in 1983, mainly engaged in construction-related businesses. Due to financial problems, it merged with OCISA SA in 1993 to form OCP Construcciones, SA. In 1997, it merged with Ginés Navarro Construcciones, SA to form the ACS Group. In 1999, Onyx SCL was bought, and in 2000, it merged into the telecommunications companies Xfera and Broadnet. In 2003, it acquired Dragados SA, a construction company established during World War II.

2006 buy Rufeinuosa United Group (Unión Fenosa, SA, BMAD: UNF) 22% of the shares (later increased to 45%), in 2011 in Germany’s largest construction companies – Hochtief (Hochtief Aktiengesellschaft) The shares rose to 50.16%, becoming its actual owner.

ACS Group is divided into 3 departments to operate : Construction (building), Industrial Services (industrial services) and Services (services).

1. Construction —— undertake the construction of civil engineering works such as highways, railways, ports, and airports; and residential buildings, social facilities and facilities, infrastructure services, and mining services and infrastructure contracts required for mining activities.

2. Industrial Services ——Provide engineering services; power, gas and water network maintenance services; construction, installation and maintenance services for high-voltage wires, telecommunications systems, railway facilities, power facilities, mechanical components, heating and cooling systems; and for industrial and Municipal services install and operate control systems, and perform EPC projects designed, constructed and commissioned by the energy sector.

3. Services -provide services for people, such as elderly care, and manage kindergartens, nurseries and food services for the community; building services, including maintenance, energy efficiency, cleanliness, safety, logistics and assistance; provide services for the city and the environment, Including public lighting, environment and airport services.)
