$PLTR – Palantir

1. 257,135,415 shares issued

2. Issued at $7.25 USD each.

3. It is valued at a total value of $16 billion, including locked-up stocks.

In 2018, 2019, and 2020, net profits were at loss.

What seems positive is that the size of the net profit deficit is decreasing. As the demand for data management is increasing, it can be seen that the demand for security and data management of enterprises is continuously rising. It is that many companies/people give more trust in Palantir, which is operated based on excellent technology.

But when there are good things, there are bad things It is the product the company is selling.

As a retail investor, there is no way we can find nitty gritty part about their products. In the case of Palantir Gotham, since it is for government agencies, there is no way for the general public to access it because it is secured, and it is being used by the agencies. Also, in the case of Palantir Foundry, I wonder how to rate the effectiveness of this product.

The average person has never seen this product and may not be able to see it in the future. What do they see to evaluate the value of this company? Isn’t there really no way to know how specifically the software works? As a computer science major and working in tech field, I am very interested in this company, and at the same time, I am frustrated because I cannot know specifics.
